What I like about the measurement technique:
that we get detailed insights into many climate-dependent applications with this technology – whether in pharmaceutical production, setting up a meteorological observation network in Siberia or in the control of photovoltaic systems and wind turbines for renewable energy. I also like to understand how an airport or a high speed train is controlled in extreme weather situations.

Actively engaged in industrial instrumentation business for the last twenty years, particularly in the business of testing and calibration services. Worked with a French multinational company’s subsidiary for seven years before executing a management buy-out of its subsidiary. Was involved with the local healthcare industry in new business of medical imaging technology for a period of five years before returning back to the industrial instrumentation business.

Historie:
Ann Pattison studierte an der University of California, Santa Barbara und schloss dieses mit dem Masters Degree in Environmental Science and Management ab. Nach dem erfolgreich absolvierten Studium arbeitete Sie über sechs Jahre bei Clipper Windpower, wo Sie bereits viel Erfahrung mit Windenergieanlagen sammeln konnte.

Karl E. Schedler
Consultant in product and project management and customer care

History:
Karl Schedler was born in 1952 in Oberstdorf, Bavaria, Germany. At the Technical University in Munich (TUM) he was studying Communication Technology and Cybernetics, where he received his University Diploma. After receiving a scientific award at Max-Planck-Institute for Biochemistry in Martinsried/Munich he was involved in technical diagnostic methods for cancer research (Mildred Scheel foundation), cytometry and protein sequence analysis as a scientific assistant over 6 Years.Since 1984 he is working as a self-employed development and consultant engineer in Oberstdorf. With over 20 Years experience, he became an expert in sensor technology and central computer data processing for traffic related environment and road weather data information systems. In 1989 he founded company micKS MSR GmbH and takes over the management until 2006. He is now working as senior consultant at micKS and LUFFT in product and project management and customer support. He is also involved in many European and national R&D projects, regarding traffic information services and weather impact on traffic (for example eMOTION, InTime, WOLKE etc.). He is also an expert member in workgroups for European wide standardization (BASt, DIN, CEN, TC337).

Christian Mörken
Freelance writer, editor and professor

History:
Born in Germanys most beautiful city Hamburg, Christian first fell in love with music and followed his passion by studying musicology at the University of Hamburg and later in Liverpool. After finishing his Masters degree he returned to Hamburg. And work as A&R/Marketing Manager for artists such as Herbert Groenemeyer, Jan Delay, Chris Rea or Gregorian. After changing to the publishing business he spent another five years among books and CDs before starting is own business as freelance author, copywriter and PR consultant. Now he is writing catalogues, brochures, mailings for various companies from media to industry. In addition he develops and implements marketing and pr strategies for social media channels.

What I like about the measurement technique:
That Lufft is measuring the quality of air in the town where I live for me to be sure that we live in a climatic spa.
